So one week on from RIAT and its my local airshow, the Sunderland International Air Show.
Wasn't sure if I would attend, but the weather on Saturday was very promising and it seemed like a good chance to get some photos of aircraft I was filming at Fairford.
Turned out to be quite a good call in my opinion, so sorry for another upload splurge.
Dispite a mishap where I forgot my 2gb card, I still had my backup 512mb one, so it wasn't a total loss.
You can download a 6 minute summary video I took here

showing clips from various displays.
Sorry about the music, the sound quality wasn't too good and there were annoying children a little too close at moments.

So yeah, sorry for that massive upload splurge to my couple of watchers.
Especially those with an aviation interest measured in negatives.
When you go to an airshow where the flying display lasts from 10am to 5:30pm, you're going to end up with a fair few photos. 182 actually, so maybe the 70 or so uploaded isn't so bad.
And depending on the weather, I might just revisit the Sunderland airshow on Saturday, eep.
Many many many thanks to
Next year... Farnborough! Hahah.

So a guy walks into a bar and says "Ow..."
Yup, I've had the Halo Encyclopaedia ordered for months now, and I hope you're right in terms of how much detail is in it.
Sadly I can't really do anything about the Covenant Destroyer, or the Spirit of Fire for that matter.
We can't explore around Halo Wars the way we can other Halo games, and also the Destroyer only made a few appearances in pre-rendered CGI cutscenes. Videos basically, so its impossible to look around them from different angles etc.
We were behind the left most grandstand on Saturday, near the KC-10.
The "Sea King - 4" pic shows it best.
Sunday was intended, but a bus schedule change on that day made it unworkable, and it turned out the weather was better Saturday anyway. The entrance tickets were valid for either day, but sadly the grandstand tickets were Sunday only.
We still had a nice spot though. A lot of people left after the Vulcan had been on and we moved forward to see the Frecce Tricolori.
